The Department of Television, Film and Photography of the University of Dhaka operates a state-of-the-art modern and professional television studio. The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh funded the studio construction through the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), an academic innovation fund, Window 3. Since 2017, the studio has been operating sucessfully. It has sphisticated LED studio lights, high-resolution studio cameras, a production control room (PCR), a spacious green room, and video editing equipment. This studio is used by the Television, Film and Photography Department to run DU TV, the University of Dhaka's internet protocol TV channel. A group of young faculty members and enthusiastic students work on the basis of full-time in the studio.
