EngageMedia Collective Inc., Australia

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of Television, Film, and Photography at the University of Dhaka and EngageMedia Collective Inc. has been signed on the 4th of April 2024 to collaborate on various endeavors aimed at hosting social issue film initiatives.

EngageMedia is an Australia-based nonprofit organization that promotes digital rights, OST, and social issue films. Combining video, technology, knowledge, and networks, EngageMedia supports Asia-Pacific changemakers advocating for human rights, democracy, and the environment.

Cinemata is a video platform for social issue films about the Asia-Pacific, developed and managed by EngageMedia. Cinemata highlights essential yet underheard stories, increasing filmmakers’ reach, engagement, and impact, helping audiences discover thought-provoking videos.

As part of this collaboration, Cinemata will serve as a hosting platform for archiving and promoting relevant social issue films produced by the Department of Television, Film, and Photography, aligning with Cinemata's Editorial Policy.
